Beth just retired from almost 30 years of teaching, the last 24 of which were spent teaching elementary students in Galt, CA, in the southern portion of Sacramento County. At Splash, she will be able to continue her passion for teaching by managing Project AWE at the historic Nicolaus Dairy in Elk Grove, CA.
Beth believes it’s her job to offer every child the opportunity to have a meaningful, engaging, outdoor experience that helps them learn about environmental stewardship and sustainable outcomes.
She loves honeybees and beekeeping! Beth gets to care for the two hives at the dairy with some help from local beekeepers. Beth has worked the past 8 years at her school educating her students about all things honeybees and helping many fall in love with them along the way.
