For 25 years, Sacramento Splash has connected children to the wonders of nature, bringing over 200,000 students outdoors for hands-on learning. Splash students have discovered the beauty of vernal pools, the thrill of scientific exploration, and the importance of caring for the environment. These moments inspire a lifelong love for nature and science.
We have connected with over 18,000 youth this year through one of our seven programs; all of our programs require fantastic staff, and they show up with passion and dedication each day! Those staff come with a price tag; as you can imagine, the employment costs have drastically increased with the increase of minimum wage to $20/hr. We realize that many of you donate for the Big Day of Giving, and we are grateful, but if you can give a little more NOW, we would be grateful!
