Splash in the Class: A Catalyst for Environmental Stewardship

Splash in the Class (SITC) program is shaping the Sacramento region’s next generation of environmental protectors. Through hands-on, interactive lessons, students in grades 3-6 dive into water quality, pollution prevention, and local stream ecosystems. With over 80,000 students impacted since its start, SITC is creating eco-conscious youth actively taking steps to protect the environment.

Led by David Rosen, this fun and engaging program connects students to nature while showing them how pollution affects their water and wildlife. The real magic happens when students see how their actions can make a difference.
